It's not just the gas prices that are rising

Amazon sellers are starting to feel the impact of of rising inflation.

Starting April 28, Amazon will implement a fuel and inflation surcharge of 5% on top of their current FBA fulfillment fee for all US FBA sellers. The increased fees will apply to all product types, including non-apparel, apparel, dangerous goods and Small and Light items.

Anything being shipped from fulfilment centers will have this surcharge applied. The surcharge is in lieu of increased fuel, logistics and labor costs.

Sellers across the US are very concerned about this new fee as it is making margins smaller and making it very difficult to be profitable. The only solution is to raise prices on products.
